When I watch Lili and Cleo, I imagine that their connection must feel something like my own connection with my mom. Certainly, they relate and behave as dogs, not as humans. But the commonality between the two relationships is obvious. Lili and Cleo's bond is made purely of love. They are best friends, teacher and student, inseparable buddies, playmates, soul mates, eternal companions, so happy together ....mother and daughter.
